1 Gravel Knob and Camp Creek Bald rival Green Ridge Knob, which is strictly in NC, for the same prominence.
If Gravel or Camp Creek wins, it and Chimneytop are both candidates for the Greene county prom prize;
otherwise, Chimneytop Mtn is the sole candidate.
Based on field observations, it is highly probable that Green Ridge Knob takes the prominence.
2 Bryson Mtn has been mined to the point where Log Mtn KY steals its prominence.
If that is true, then Lone Mtn becomes the greatest prominence in Claiborne county.
3 Three areas near Lockhart TP in Sequatchie, Grundy, and Marion counties all rival for the same prominence.
If either the Sequatchie or Grundy areas is the highest of these, it's the most prominent in its county.
Otherwise, it gets no more than 40' prominence, and an alternate summit gets the county prom.
